Julian started his Horticultural career at the R.H.S Gardens, Harlow Carr in Harrogate before attending Writtle Agricultural College, where he gained a diploma in Commercial Horticulture. Julian spent several years working for a Horticultural Sundries Company before joining the largest producer Company in Europe of beneficial insects and biological control products. He spent a decade advising growers on the use of these products and how to reduce chemical pesticide use. To take this expertise to the consumer he joined Just Green and now provides technical help and support to its customers. Julian often appears on local BBC radio stations such as BBC Cambridge and BBC Essex to answer phone in questions from their listeners. During 2008 Julian will also feature in the magazine Gardens Monthly as a member of their gardening experts panel.
