It is important to use the correct amounts of water during application since this ensures the neamtodes are washed into the soil to give an even application.
Q. Can I apply nematodes using a garden hose?
A. Yes, we recommend the handy nematode applicator which snaps onto the end of the garden hose using a standard Gardena or Hozelock fitting. Please see our Pest Control section to buy this applicator.

A. Just Slug Killer should be applied to moist soil. If applying in hot weather it is better to wait till later in the day when the soil won't dry out so quickly and the nematodes will have a chance to migrate underground during the night. The soil temperture should be 5C (40F) or over.
Q. What happens if the temperature falls after I have used Just Slug Killer?
A. The control may be a little slower. However, the nematodes are capable of surviving even the odd frost.
