Guidelines For Use

For successful biological control these general guidelines should be followed:

Our products must be used as soon as it is possible after arrival.
The storage life of most of these products is short.
Products should be applied as soon as the pests are seen on the plants.
If large populations of pests are allowed to establish it
can take too long for the natural enemies to restore nature's balance.
Biological products are generally temperature sensitive.
Most of them require warm temperatures to be active.
If the temperatures are too cold or hot they can also die.
Guidelines for the correct temperature are contained with your product information when despatched to you, please read these instructions before use.
Avoid using chemicals for pest control while using these products.
Also allow a gap from starting your biological control
programmes and the last time chemicals were used.
If a pest population needs knocking back because the conditions are not suitable for biological control or the pest population is too high, use a fatty acid based product which leaves no toxic residues.
