When water supplies are scarce, careful use of all sources is important. The water used in baths is often referred to as "Grey Water" and this itself can be saved and used in the garden for watering. Just Green can now supply you a product that will syphon off the Grey water from your bath or sink directly into your garden, beating hose pipe bans!

This product is called the WaterGreen Droughtbuster. Simply put one end in your bath and the other end out of your window connected to a hose. Then squeeze the pump and let gravity take over. The water can then be fed to a water butt or container for watering use or straight onto plants. However if the grey water has a lot of detergents or soap in it, this may need to be cleaned before applying to plants. This can be achieved using Just Water Butt Cleaner or Just Septic Tank cleaner for dirtier water.  Ideally, only environmentally friendly cleaning and washing products should be present in grey water.
