Perils of Metaldehyde Slug pellets!

The magazine Horticulture Week recently reported on the perils of Metaldehyde slug pellets. ADAS representative  Paul Fogg said " It takes only one pellet to contaminate 10,000 litres of water to be over the set drinking water standard".

This type of report only strengthens the case to stop using Metaldehyde based slug pellets. Make the switch to slug killing nematodes in Just Nemaslug Slug Killer or use Advanced Slug Killer pellets. These pellets contain a naturally occurring active ingredient, which is safe to the environment, wildlife and water courses.

The same magazine also reported on the devasting effects of Browntail and Gypsy moths on trees and recommended nematodes as one of the solutions. See Just Caterpillar Killer on our website.
