Granules of peanuts are higher in oil and protein than the rest of the peanut, being derived from the germination point. They provide highly nutritious snacks for fledglings and other wildlife (a particular favourite of hedgehogs), and are suitable for ground feeding or table feeding birds. 

Always supply sparingly to the feeding area to ensure freshness of the granules. Make a regular supply available from autumn to early summer to satisfy the highest feeding demands.
