This large tree can reach heights of up to 30m, in a roughly conical shape. The distinctive heart shaped, small leaves are finely toothed and star-like ivory coloured scented flowers are produced. Prefers full sun to light shade, with moist, well-drained soils, but is tolerant of difficult growing sites and soils.
