Just Green offer a wide range of Pheromones and Pheromone traps for the trapping and monitoring of insects. Pheromone capsules release the smell of a species specific sex pheromone. This lures the adult males of the relevant moth species into the trap, hence preventing it mating with the female.
For commercial use, the Delta trap is the recommended type of pheromone trap. The standard delta trap is suitable to catch mothes up to 12mm in length. There is a larger Delta trap available on request for moths larger than this. Sticky inserts inside the trap stick the moths to the sides and floor.
Some large species of moths may also fill up a large Deltatrap quickly, for these moths the Funnel trap is recommended.
