Caterpillars are the larval stage of butterflies and moths and can cause considerable damage to garden plants which they feed on. The Just Moth Trap is a pheromone trap which attracts and catches male moths who are then prevented from mating with females who in turn cannot produce the eggs which lead to harmful caterpillars. The liquid pheromone lures poured into the traps use the scent of females to lure the male moths into the traps.

The Just Moth Trap has a new unique design, which is even more effective at catching moths. The moths are attracted by a new long life lure, which is now active for up to 16 weeks. Once the male moth detects the pheromone it flies through the holes on the trap and falls to the bottom. Moths never fly directly up and out of a trap but try to walk up the sides of it. The new trap design does not allow them to do this. The trap is made from materials that are weatherproof and therefore can be re-used for several years.

The new trap is supplied with a hanger, inserts and a pheromone holder. Each trap can be supplied with the relevant pheromone lure. Lures are available for;
